¡Hola! Thanks for stopping by my classroom website. This is my second school year at JMS and I could not be more excited!
I graduated from the College of St. Benedict in 2017 with my Bachelor of Arts degree in Hispanic Studies and a minor in Secondary Education. During my time there I was fortunate to receive a quality education, play college hockey, and create priceless memories.
I have had many rewarding experiences leading me to this point such as traveling to Europe, South America, and the Caribbean. My love for travel started as a high school student when I went to France and Spain with my high school choir for a ten day trip. From that trip on, I knew traveling would be a passion of mine. I flew to Haiti for a seven day mission trip with my church, where I met many amazing people and learned basic phrases in Haitian Creole. After that, I traveled with my collegiate hockey team to Germany, Italy, Switzerland, and Austria. Finally I studied abroad in Chile for one semester, where I was fortunate enough to spend a weekend in Peru exploring Machu Picchu!
Our classroom will be an inviting, fun space where we will learn together. I am thrilled to be exploring more languages and cultures with you all!
